About The Free Range Lesbians

Katie & Lisa

Hi! We're Katie & Lisa. We're just two gals who finally figured out who we are in our 30s- and surprise! We're both autistic, ADHD, and lesbians. 🌈✨

Life hasn't exactly been a gentle journey. We've navigated chronic illness, late-life queer identity discovery, parenting while neurodivergent, and the beautiful chaos of raising kids while trying to make ends meet. We've been through burnout so intense we couldn't sleep or think, learned the hard way that "high-functioning" doesn't mean "unbroken," and discovered that sometimes the most revolutionary act is slowing down.

We created Free Range Lesbians because we kept looking for community that got it - really got it. The spoonie life, the executive dysfunction, the way your brain works differently, the joy and struggle of being queer parents, the constant negotiation between your needs and everyone else's expectations.

Our low-demand lifestyle isn't laziness - it's survival. It's recognizing that we can't do it all, and that's okay. It's about finding joy in the small things and creating space for rest without guilt.

We're starting with our monthly mail club - The Free Range Post. This came from our own need for monthly magic that doesn't require leaving the couch or spending a fortune. We wanted to create something that felt like getting a hug from a friend who understands - art that speaks to your soul, stickers that make you smile, recipes that don't require energy you don't have, and surprises that remind you you're not alone.

We're not perfect. Our house is messy, our days are unpredictable, and some days just getting out of bed is a victory. But we're here, creating and connecting because we believe that even in our broken, beautiful, chaotic lives, we deserve joy, community, and the freedom to be exactly who we are.

Welcome to our weird, wonderful world. We're so glad you're here. 🐓💕
